TREASURE HUNT PROMOTION WINNERS
November 22nd 2011 - Treasure HuntMonday 21 November, 2011 Digicel hid millions of Vatu of free credit treasure in phones across Vanuatu last week and then also gave away thousands of Vatu in pirate booty cash on Friday. The Treasure Hunt continues this week with more credit and cash to be won!
A total of 10,000VT pirate booty cash was awarded to four winners. The 1st winner won 5,000VT, the 2nd and 3rd won 2,000VT each, and the 4th won 1,000VT. The winners were randomly selected out of all of the people who won free credit, made a phone call, and kept their phone switched on last week.
Terrance Soul was the 1st place winner! Terrance is an 18 year-old student living in Matevulu, Santo. When Antoinette Nasse, Digicel’s Marketing Assistant, called Terrance to tell him the great news about his pirate booty win, he said, “I’m going to use my 5,000VT winning money to pay for Christmas gifts.”
Taking 2nd place was Timothy George, a 24-year old salesman from Port Vila. He told Antoinette, “I really like the pirate theme of this promotion!” He is going to use his 2,000VT pirate booty cash to buy more Digicel credit and play other games.
Also receiving 2,000VT was the 3rd place winner, Keith Tary from Luganville, Santo. He made a phone call to collect his treasure because he had heard of so many people winning credit and cash on FM 107. Keith is a 42-year old builder who is going to use his winnings to buy one of the phones featured in Digicel’s Christmas proomotions.
Lucky last was 4th place winner Keken Puktan who lives in Lakatoro, Malekula. He is a 31 year-old farmer who is planning to buy food with his 1,000VT pirate booty cash.
If customers didn’t win any treasure credit or pirate booty cash last week, they could be lucky this week! This week Digicel has hidden more than 30,000,000VT worth of free credit for customers to uncover! All customers have to do is keep their phones turned on all this week to see if they have won treasure. If a customer discovers they’ve won, all they have to do is make any call to ensure the pirate does not steal the treasure back! Then customers should keep their phone on all week until Friday, 25 November to be in with a chance to win pirate booty cash.
Mr. Paul Stafford, CEO of Digicel Vanuatu says, “We’re having a lot of fun with the Treasure Hunt! It’s a thrill to hide credit on people’s phones and then hear back from them as they turn their phone on and see that they have won pirate treasure!”
