Digicel Launches 3G Mobile Broadband in Vanuatu

Wednesday, 7^thDecember, 2011-Port Vila, Vanuatu:Digicel has today officially launched a revolutionary new 3G mobile broadband service. The high speedinternet service will be available in Port Vila and Luganville and offer customers affordable access to the internet at home and on the move.  

Digicel 3G willincrease connectivity within Port Vila and Luganville and provide a fast, reliable service to the people of Vanuatu. The service is underpinned by Digicel’s commitment to best value, best network, best service and best innovation.

The 3G service is available through a range of convenient solutions including 3G enabled handsets** and tablet PCs and Digicel 3G USB Modems. Users requiring multiple connections in the home or office can choose aninnovative “MiFi” device which provides wireless access for up to five PCs at any one time or a WiFi Router. Access is available from as low as 7.5VT per MB for Post Paid customers and 17VT per MB for Prepaid customers. In addition to the great value plans customers can rest assured knowing that Customer Care is available in three languages, 24 hours a day, seven days per week.

Initially Digicel 3G will be available in the high population centres of Port Vila and Luganville with 2G services available in all other coverage areas.

Digicel 3G service is available for purchase at the Digicel Main Stores in Port Vila and Luganville.
