DIGICEL ANNOUNCES LATEST WINNER

Friday, 28^th October, 2011 Digicel celebrated today with Flora Muerisar, winner of the latest 30,000VT grocery shopping spree!

Flora says she text SHOP to 5151 ten times during the SMS competition that ran from Thursday 20^th October until Tuesday 25^th October. She was interested in the competition and wanted to play, hoping she might be lucky and win! She was indeed lucky when her phone number was randomly selected out of all the phone numbers that were entered into the competition.

On Friday, 28^th October Flora, along with a friend met Digicel Marketing Executive Jessica Hill outside a grocery store in Port Vila. Neither the pouring rain or the loud thunder stopped them from going shopping!

Flora wasted no time buying the food that she needed for her Erakor Village home, including rice, cereal, and meat. She is planning to share her winnings with her entire extended family.

Flora is the third winner of Digicel’s SMS Competition. The first winner, of the competition that ended on September 22^nd, was Mansen John from Numbatri area. He used the 30,000VT shopping spree to stock up his family’s cupboards before his job on a cargo ship took him back out to sea.

The second winner, Bernadette Nezservet, won the competition that ended on October 4^th. As Bernadette lives in Port Olry, Santo she received 30,000VT cash to spend in her local grocery store.
