Prepaid customers can call their 3 most frequently dialed numbers at the best rate in Vanuatu
Monday November 9th 2009, Vanuatu: Digicel, Vanuatu’s fastest growing telecommunications operator has today launched ‘Friends and Family’, a new service which allows prepaid customers make calls to other Digicel mobiles at the lowest rate in Vanuatu.
The “Friends and Family” service enables Digicel prepaid customers to make calls to up to three other pre-registered Digicel mobiles at the reduced rate of only 15VT per minute – the best value prepaid rate in Vanuatu.
Digicel Vanuatu CEO Roy Gillingham said, “Digicel is continually looking at ways to maintain its innovative edge and bring fresh ideas to the Vanuatu market.”
“The ‘Friends and Family’ plan is testament to that allowing Digicel prepaid customers call their three most frequently dialed numbers at the lowest prepaid rate in Vanuatu today,” he said.
Simply text in the numbers and send it to 233.
For example, to add the numbers 5555100 and 5555353, simply text 5555100 5555353 and send to 233.
You can add one number at a time or multiple numbers of up to 3.
To delete a number from the existing list:
You can delete one number at a time.
For e.g., you wish to delete the numbers, 5XXXXXX send to 335, 5XXXXXX send to 335 and 5XXXXXX send to 335.
You can delete 3 numbers only in a month.
To check your numbers:
Simply send a blank text to 245. You will get a response text message stating all the numbers in the group:

Remove: 3 (this means that you have 3 numbers you can delete for the month)
