Digicel digs deep to sponsor the Independence celebrations across Vanuatu.

 Digicel handed over a cheque for three hundred thousand Vatu to the Port Vila Independence Committee. MP Ralph Regenvanu and Internal Affairs Minister Moana Carcasses gratefully received the cheque at Parliament Park which is shaping up for the big celebrations this Friday.

 

While this contribution will help in Vila Digicel is also spreading it’s community love across Vanuatu with sponsorships in: Ambae, Malakaula, Ambrym, Nguna, Pentecost, Tanna, Santo and in other regions of Efate. In total Digicel will contribute over 1.5 million Vatu in sponsorship elements to the Independence celebrations s across Vanuatu.

 

David Bulter CEO of Digicel Vanuatu is pleased that Digicel can contribute to Independence Celebrations throughout the nation. “This year is very important to Vanuatu as it is the 30^th Anniversary of Independence and for us it was a another way to be involved and to give back to the people and the communities throughout Vanuatu” he said. “I’ve been watching the all work going in to erecting the stalls and I have to say I’m looking forward to experiencing my first Independence celebration in Vanuatu”.
