DIGICEL STAFF SING CAROLS AT CHILDREN'S WARD
December 19th 2011 - Children's WardThe staff of Digicel Vanuatu visited the Children’s Ward of the Port Vila Central Hospital to sing carols and distribute gifts.
They sang Silent Night, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Away in a Manger, Joy to the World, and Jingle Bells with the children, their families, and the hospital staff who care for them. During the carol singing, gifts were brought around to each child’s bed. There were dolls in beautiful, festive dresses for the girls and toy cars and activity books for the boys.
After the singing and gift giving, Digicel’s Roderick Aiong thanked everyone assembled at the Children’s Ward for allowing Digicel staff to join them. Then, on behalf of the staff and families involved with the Children’s Ward, Dr. Anneth Garae thanked Digicel for coming and uplifting everyone’s spirits.
Digicel CEO Paul Stafford said, “Visiting the children, families, and staff at the Children’s Ward has become an annual tradition for us, and it is one we look forward to every year. It fills our hearts with joy to be able to bring smiles to all at the Children’s Ward.”
