March 2nd 2010 - DIGICEL SUPPORTS FRESHWOTA COMMUNITY FUN DAY
Tuesday 2nd March – Digicel, Vanuatu’s leading mobile provider, was a proud supporter of the highly successful Freshwota Community Fun Day on Saturday 27 February at the Freshwota Park.
The event was organized by the Freshwota Committee with the support of Digicel and its employees.
The action packed fun filled day included Futsal, Petangue and Volleyball tournaments as well as a Senior and Junior Bicycle race with the emphasized placed on participation and having fun.
Despite the inclement weather the event attracted large crowds throughout the day.
Digicel staff members got into the spirit of the occasion by cooking and selling hot dogs for 150vt each, with all proceeds going to a range of local charities. Digicel also provided trophies and prizes for the various competitions, while Graphic Image donated a trophy for the Futsal tournament.

3. PRIZE:- Ngwele Team
Digicel Vanuatu CEO, Roy Gillingham, said “Digicel strongly believes in supporting and investing in the local communities. We were delighted to be able to assist the Freshwota Committee with their fantastic community centred event.
