Postpaid and Prepaid Roaming

Now You Can Roam!

You're abroad and you're looking for an easy way to keep in touch with everyone - Digicel gives you a great option. With Digicel Select and Digicel Business, customers can also use their Digicel mobile number when travelling abroad.
Our roaming partnerships ensure that whether travelling on business or for pleasure, you are always connected! With Digicel Prepaid, customers can use their Digicel Mobile when traveling in New Zealand and Fiji.

How does Roaming Work?

All Digicel Select and Digicel Business customers can automatically use their phones while overseas. Dual-band phones will work in most countries except the USA and Canada. You will need to use tri-band and quad-band phones in these countries. We recommend that you contact Customer Care before you leave Vanuatu, to verify that your phone will work in whatever country you are traveling to, and to receive more detailed information about Digicel’s roaming policy.

Follow These Easy Steps:

  1. Before departure, find the Network Selection setting in your Digicel mobile phone menu and select ‘’Automatic’’.
  2. Upon arrival, turn on your phone and allow it to select Digicel’s roaming partner in the country you are visiting.

In some instances, your phone will not automatically select the Digicel roaming partner in the country you are visiting. In these cases, you will have to manually select the roaming partner. To manually select the roaming partner, scroll through the menu options in your phone until you find the ‘Network Selection’ option, select ‘Manual’, and then select the available Digicel roaming partner.

* The process for changing a network selection varies for each phone, so we recommend that you refer to your phone’s manual before you depart.

How do I access my voicemail while roaming?

To access the voicemail service while roaming, please dial +678 555 5555. You will then need to enter your mobile number and password. Please be advised that calls diverted to your voicemail while roaming are NOT free. To avoid ensuring charges for calls forwarded to voicemail, please cancel all diverts BEFORE leaving Vanuatu. To find out how to do this on your phone, please consult your phone's manual. You are now ready to make and receive calls using your Digicel mobile phone. Remember, we are always adding new International Roaming partners so it's wise to ring Customer Care before you travel.
